Dr. Sameer Bhate is Head of Adult Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery with expertise across advanced adult cardiac surgery and transplant care.

His expertise includes redo heart surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, and surgery for aortic aneurysm.

He has significant experience in chest trauma and has helped set up three cardiac centres in North India and two heart and lung transplant programs in South India.

He aims to make cardiac surgery affordable while maintaining single-use policy for consumables and quality surgical care.

Dr. Sameer Bhate has contributed to advanced adult cardiovascular thoracic surgery, transplant programs, cardiac centre development, and affordable cardiac surgery models.
