Dr. Puneet Dhar is a Senior Consultant in Gastrointestinal Surgery with expertise in digestive diseases and advanced gastrointestinal surgical care.
He specializes in GI cancer surgery, pancreatic surgery, neuroendocrine tumors, biliary reconstructions, retroperitoneal surgery, and pouch surgery for complex colorectal disease.
He was instrumental in setting up the Digestive Diseases department at AIIMS Rishikesh, where he served as Professor and Head.
He has also served as Dean of Student Welfare and has interests in medical education, medical humanities, surgical research, and training.
