Dr. Pravas Chandra Mishra

Dr. Pravas Chandra Mishra is a hematologist trained at AIIMS New Delhi with special interest in blood and marrow transplant, myeloid neoplasms, plasma cell neoplasms, amyloid, and bone marrow failure.

He has expertise in aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, thalassemia, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and other bleeding disorders.

He worked at AIIMS New Delhi till 2017 as Professor of Hematology and later set up the Blood and Marrow Transplant unit at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Patparganj and Vaishali.

He has performed all varieties of stem cell transplants for hematological disorders including matched unrelated and haploidentical transplants.

Dr. Pravas Chandra Mishra has several national and international papers to his credit in hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant.

Dr. Mishra trained and served at AIIMS New Delhi and has led development of BMT services in major hospital settings.
