Dr. Chitralekha De

Dr. Chitralekha De is a dedicated ophthalmologist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in retinal diseases.

She completed MS in Ophthalmology at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Guwahati, and further honed her skills through a retinal surgery fellowship at Shankar Nethralaya, Chennai.

Driven by a passion for preventing blindness, she played an important role in Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinopathy of Prematurity projects at Prabha Eye Clinic and Vittala Institute of Ophthalmology, Bangalore.

As a Senior Consultant at Centre for Sight Group, Delhi NCR, she contributed to clinical care and management of patients with retinal diseases while educating and training aspiring ophthalmologists.

Dr. Chitralekha De has contributed to clinical care, training, and retinal disease management programs focused on preventing blindness.

Dr. De has trained and educated aspiring ophthalmologists while managing complex retinal conditions in major eye care centers.
